Tips for consistent image dimensions
Get a matching set of pictures from your batch.
- Use one setting for the whole batch. The same crop mode, ratio and format is applied to every image you add, so add them all before you press Crop All Images.
- Need every file to have the same width and height? Choose Exact Dimensions and enter the pixel size you want.
- Need the same shape, such as square or 16:9? Choose an aspect ratio or Center Crop (Square). Check the results, because pictures of different sizes may come out at different pixel sizes.
- Group similar photos. Centre cropping keeps the middle of each picture. Check that the part you care about is not near an edge.
- Pick the output format that fits. JPG is good for photos, PNG keeps sharp graphics, and WebP is useful for websites.
- Need a different size or format afterwards? Use the Image Resizer to change dimensions or the Image Converter to change format.
